More than 400 businesses joined the Rising Stars initiative and benefited from hands-on support of an experienced and impartial business adviser. This initiative has helped to safeguard jobs in some businesses and create new jobs in the District. Almost 200 businesses have been helped with applications for grant support of one kind or another and we estimate that this has brought about £5 million of business grants into the District.

Rising Stars was part of Bradford Council’s Business and Enterprise Growth Programme, partly funded by the Council and partly by the European Regional Development Fund.

Your company can continue to receive help with plans for business growth from Bradford Council’s Invest in Bradford team.

Or contact your local Chamber to find out about the ways in which we continue to support the business community.
